HIERARCHY AUDITIONS EDITED. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,380,true] | [atrb=background,http://i904.photobucket.com/albums/ac244/White_Haze_Photos/XA9U9273aa.jpg]After much discussion and thought, Shades and I have decided to demolish the auditions. We feel that its hindering the sites progress, and would prefer to fill these positions with proper roleplayers as soon as we possibly can. Applying for hierarchy will be just as it would for applying for the role of any other cat. However there will be a small addition to the skeleton. That addition will be what we've asked here. A roleplay sample, and why you believe that cat is fit for the role. Thank you all. I'm sorry for the confusion. We're still trying to figure out what's right for LIGHT.

username: Minty character name: Spottedfern clan: ThunderClan desired rank: Medicine Cat
quick personality: Spottedfern is strange, clumsy, forgetful, and spacey. She is, however, also extremely kind hearted, wants to please and help everyone, and is very spiritual.
why would this character be well suited for said role? Well, Spottedfern may not seem like she would be suited to be a Medicine Cat since she is fairly forgetful and occasionally will give a cat the wrong cure/treatment, but she really means well. She tries very hard, something that is seen as a virtue of ThunderClan life, and she never backs down or gives up. Her position is truly her life, and she will give as much as she has to help the other Clan cats. She is very kind hearted by nature, and she wishes to please all of ThunderClan. She is also highly spiritual, so there would not be a problem with the mystical connection between a medicine cat and StarClan (although sometimes she will attempt to read into something that isn't actually a sign; she likes to think everything is a sign). Although she makes mistakes, she truly embodies what a ThunderClan cat should be - brave, strong-willed, and determined to find any answers that they seek.
roleplay sample: The night sky twinkled in ease as storm clouds loomed beneath. The air felt muggy and heavy against the fur of the animals of the forest, creating a unison of discomfort. The moon shone through the dark, ominous clouds to cast down a lovely shade of light on the trees and plant life below. There was an air of mysticism of this moment - it felt so warm and graceful that it could be captured into a photograph. The serene scene ended a moment later as a loud thunderclap struck. The violent noise stirred the sleeping animals from their slumber and the night walking animals in their tracks. Every creature known knew what this sound meant - rain.
It only took moments before the rain began, soft and first and then gaining mass and speed. They pelted at every living thing in their way, making a wet trail behind. In the midst of the sudden storm, a dark, muddy-looking pelt of an animal shifted. Moving into the light from the trees, the face was pleasant-looking, but nothing special - a cat. Her light green orbs gazed around her from side to side as if contemplating. She shifted away from the lighting, showing off her dark, dappled pelt in the process. She seemed to be concentrating heavily on some important matter at hand - and she certainly was.
In front of her was a legion of spiders (or at least it appeared that way by their massive numbers). There was a glimmer in her eyes as she seized them up, waiting for the scared spiders to split from their homes. As the dark insects crawled away, she struck. With a swift movement, she picked up a stick that was nearby and carried it in her dusty maw. It was a rather old and partially decayed branch, but that was of no concern to the she-cat. She used it in her maw to scrape up the cobweb, reminding herself that this was a good idea - the last time she had used her paws it had not turned out well.
As she finished her pelt had become quite soaked. Spottedfern shook herself of some of the droplets before staring out at the tree that was illuminated by the moon. She suddenly dropped her stick full of cobweb in awe.
"Oh, Crookedface if only you were here," she meowed lightly with a large grin on her face as she strode back over to the tree to sniff at it. After circling the tree twice she sat perfectly in front of it, closing her eyes with a slight smile.
"Oh, ThunderClan shall have the best luck, won't they StarClan? After all, a sweet-smelling tree being shown by your light is such a good omen," she purred, half to herself as she spoke to the stars (or at least thought she was). "Oh, that's right! Such a good omen must not go ignored!"
She hurried over, forgetting her task of getting more cobweb, and picked up a few plain leaves that had fallen on the lit-up ground. With a purr of self-satisfaction she turned to head back to camp with the useless leaves in her maw.

username: polkadots character name: Silverstrike clan: Riverclan desired rank: leader
quick personality: Silverstrike can be seen as somewhat harsh, even cruel, but her clanmates know that she was always do whats best for Riverclan and will always fight for their needs.
why would this character be well suited for said role? Silverstrike is a take-no-nonsense type of she-cat. She is cold when need-be, and isn't afraid to tell other cats exactly what she thinks of them, no matter how much bigger or stronger they may be. She is easily underestimated, but once you know her you know that she won't be stopped from fighting claw to claw if you threaten her or a single one of her clanmates. She is not only a skilled fighter and hunter, but she has brains to back it up. She also has a strong interest in her clanmates and their well-being, being careful to remember to bring Elders and queens food even when she was no longer ordered to. She also loves to oversee the apprentice training and give young cats hunting and battle advice during training.Her only downfall is her pride (but every leader needs a weakness or nothing interesting ever happens). She is sometimes goaded into fights that she should not have entered, and sometimes says that her clan will never back down when the smarter thing to do may actually be to back down. However, pride is one of the biggest qualities in a Riverclan cat, and it lives on in Silverstrike. roleplay sample: Silverpaw padded silently along the stream's bank, her paws making tiny squish-squish-squish noises as they sunk into the mud and then were pulled back out again. Her pelt shone brightly on the hot greenleaf afternoon, shining like daytime moon. Her tail flicked lazily overhead, fur rustling in the slight breeze. Reaching a low point on the uneven water edge, she flopped her hindquarters down, holding her tail up high so it curled overhead, flicking a horsefly away from her long pointed ears. She was careful to stay on the north side of the stream so her shadow was not projected against the water, just as her mentor had taught her. She peered into the clear ripples, unsheathing her claws in a single fluid motion.
She paused a moment, breath bated as a fat fish swam by. She moved like lightning, her paw flashing down and swiping the fish out of the water onto the pebbles surrounding her. Her other paw whipped out, sinking her claws into its neck, killing it instantly and ceasing its twitches. She bent down, taking it in her mouth carefully to avoid shredding the carcass too much. She jumped across the stream onto the well-protected island where her clan had made its camp. She could feel the pride and joy spreading through her limbs, a sweet warm feeling. She walked up to her mentor, dropping the fish at his feet.
"I did it! I caught a fish all by myself!" she said with a grin, tail swishing back and forth excitedly.
He raised his brow, whiskers twitching in amusement. "So you did. Its rather scrawny isn't it?" he purred.
"Fox heart." huffed Silverpaw, giving him a hard shove with her flank. "I'm going to go show the kits. They'll think its impressive!" She heard her mentor purr his laughter once more, but it didn't bother her a bit. She held her head high, shoulders back proudly. She had caught her own fish! On her first try!Not even her laughing mentor could spoil that! other;
